In this video I’ll show you how to drag and drop images around a Canvas with the mouse.

Dragging and dropping images on a canvas with TKinter and Python is actually pretty easy. We’ll bind to B1-Motion. The B1 stands for Button 1, which is the representation of holding down your left mouse button. The Motion stands for moving your mouse around.

I’ll also show you how to output the x and y coordinates of mouse movement to the screen, just so we can see what’s happening behind the screen when we move the mouse around.
